The best Bait for Bass Fishing is….

I never really went bass fishing as a child and I truly regret it now. I never realized how much fun it can be especially with a good bait. One of my good friend introduced me to Senko worms. It is like a mouth to the flame! The first time he showed it to me I was like OK it is a plastic worm big deal. But with a little instructions and it was fish on! I was literally hooked for life for which I need to say Thank You Mark!

The best things about them is how easy it is to use. It is almost fool proof even a caveman could do it. There are different ways to rig it like weightless Texas rig , weightless wacky rig and a bunch of other ways with or without weight. For me the best way to say the way I like to use them  is hook the worm in the middle of it and let it fly. Let that baby sink to the bottom and reel it and stop let it sink some and hold on for the ride of a lifetime. The action of the Senko is amazing when you give your rod a little shake. It really is that easy just reel it slow I don’t think you can go to slow.  Of course there are a lot of ways to fish this wonderful bait so just try anything and everything. You will notice that they are thicker and weight a little more than other worms. They come in different sizes and colors so of course you should go get a bunch. They are not that price at all. If you find that the one you are using isn’t working the try a different color and or size. Don’t give up if you don’t catch anything right away give it a chance you won’t be sorry. I swear that when they take this bait they try to swallow the whole thing at once.

I do recommend using a small swivel so you don’t get a twist in your line and waste time rebaiting and more time catching! I also read some were that of you put a drop or two on the hook were it comes out of the worm you won’t lose as many. I don’t know if that is true I haven’t tried it yet. I am sure that there are a lot of other thing and ways to use this bait but this is a start. I would love to hear how you all use them.
